Do people who only play "retro" video games also tend to be politically conservative?

There are some people that absolutely refuse to play "newer" video games. They only play Super NES games at the latest. The AVGN kind of does this, but he also has newer game consoles. He just prefers the old ones. But I was wondering whether these people who only stick with the old games are also the ones who vote Republican, since they like the old-fashioned way so much. Or is there no correlation?

Your first mistake is assuming that conservative means “old fashioned.” Many people view liberalism as a form of socialism which is far a far older concept. There is absolutely no correlation between political views and gaming preference.

I prefer to play older games, but in no way does it relate to my political choices.

Well no I play PS1 games but I don’t have a PS1 I have a backwards compatible PS3. I wouldn’t decribe myself as conservative
