How do you turn you ps2 into an arcade machine?

Ive seen online people turn their ps2 into an " Arcade Machine". They have games already on the hardrive and can just pick it from a list. They have retro games like pacman and galaga and current games like gta san andreas and Kingdom hearts. Where and how can i get the games and put it on the hardrive. Do i need a specific hardrive? Do i need a modchip to do this? What are the softwares names ill be using? What is hd advance? By he way please dont say i can buy the games on amazon real cheap. I have both types of ps2s.

Online is a big place man and there are a lot of fake stuff. If you seen them turn it into one how come you cant do it yourself. Dont trust everything you see dude.
