Classic Game Room HD – BURGERTIME for ColecoVision review
Classic Game Room HD reviews BURGERTIME for the colecovision video game system from 1984. Originally released by Data East in the arcades in 1982, Burgertime is an awesome arcade video game and has a tremendous cartridge on the Coleco Vision. This Burger Time review has gameplay and footage from Burgertime showing the old school arcade action, excitement and challenge in making your Chef run from Mr. Egg, Mr. Hot Dog and Mr. Psychopathic Mutant Dill Pickle Maniac Warhammer. If you want superior graphics, sound and authentic arcade style check out this Colecovision video game over other versions. It is rock solid in every way and Burgertime should appeal to modern and retro gamers alive. Classic Game Room HD is the old school reviewer reviewing colecovision video games from the early 80’s as well as PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

One measure of how nice the graphics were on this cart — playing the game long enough will make you hungry.

They did not throw crap on the shelves? What about Donke ykong only 3 boards that went in the same order, Dig Dug different the the arcade version.
Colecovision had sluggish controller response, I know because I have one.
Colrcovision was just a tweeked Atari, it still had that annoying flicker that Atari was plagued with. Q*Bert on Intellivision was better then the colecovision version because the graphics were just as good and Q*Bert actually made a unique sound when he would get hit.

In response to the comment from the final seconds of the review:
Actually, what I would want to know, if this were a real world chef, is whom would be interested in eating a burger put together by having the guy literally walking all over the food product, in the first place…last I knew, Chef Boot was never a proper kitchen tool.

The Atari 2600 Burger Time was crap. It was almost unplayable. This one is very well made.

I’ve been playing Burger Time on MAME, and damn, the colecovision version looks crazy close to the actual arcade version, as do most of the games on this system. Think I’m going in search of…for this system!

What the Crap! This version looks better than my NES version. I hate the 2600 version. Both versions I have the cook gets stuck on the ladders, getting on and off and going sideways off of them. I always get killed cuz he gets stuck, very very aggravating.

I can tell you from playing this game in the 1980’s that the audio is identical. The Colecovision controllers are a bit clunky to work with but at least they went in eight directions unlike the Atari that only go’s in four.

Hehe…my best friend holds the world record on this game on the arcade version…Bryan Wagner. Last time he set the record, I spend the night with him in a mall arcade in Reading, PA. while he beat his own record…

I always thought the NES version of Burgertime was in my opinion the best of them all. I also love the Intellivision version too. The other day I played the TI version and was very amused.
